XPP-5456G Intrinsically Safe Headlamp. Engineered as a dual function headlamp, XPP-5456G operates as a single setting spotlight and selection of one of three illumination output floodlight. As a spotlight, the parabolic reflector collimates with the 100-lumen beam making visible objects 140 meters away. As a floodlight the headlamp emits white light at 90 or 20 lumens, or red light at 18 lumens, preserving night vision. Injection molded from an engineered polymer, XPP-5456G is IP-X7 waterproof rated and comes equipped with an elastic non-slip headband and hardhat strap. Furthermore, XPP-5456G features a multi-position vertical ratcheted headband that augments beam orientation.

Incorporating a Cree LED with a L70 lifetime of 50,000 hours, XPP-5456G is easy to operate by depressing one of the dual switches installed on top of the headlamp operating either the spotlight or floodlight. Powered by three AA alkaline batteries, this Intrinsically safe headlamp provides 18 hours of spotlight runtime, 13.5 and 75 hours of white floodlight runtime at 90 or 20 lumen operation, respectively, and 37 hours of (red) floodlight runtime.

XPP-5456G Intrinsically Safe Headlamp is suitable for use in combustible gas and dust environments and is cETLus, ATEX, and IECEx listed.
